BA 302 Business Management Processes (4) Integrates core concepts from Management Information Systems (MIS) with those of Operations Management and introduces a process-oriented view of the flows of materials, information and services through and across organizations. The course helps students identify information-bearing events, assess and improve process efficiency, learn to model and analyze business processes, and understand the interactions between human behavior and process design. Hands-on, case-based assignments and labs allow students to practice the principles addressed. Prerequisites: MTH 245,  BA 101, BA 276.

BA 370 Business Information Systems Overview (4) Introduce students to the field of information management. Topics include information systems technology, the strategic role of IT, the business applications of networks, databases and Internet technologies, and the development and implementation of information systems. Use relational database models to design a real-world case study. Prerequisites: BA 213, BA 275, junior standing.

BA572 Advanced Information Systems (3) The development, implementation and management of information technology applications will be addressed. Topics will address the development and application of technology to support linkages within the organization and outside the organization. Projects will be assigned to illustrate the topics.
